Description: | Tapered spray of elongated hexagonal lustrous translucent blue aquamarine crystals, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with flat basal pinacoid terminations. The aquamarine crystals have thin 2 mm transparent zones in the terminations. Collected ca. 2010 |
