Description: | Large (for this rare mineral species) lustrous translucent-to-transparent brown tetrahedral helvine crystal on greenish-brown matrix with small transparent orange garnet crystals to 1 mm. The mineral species helvite was renamed in 2012 to helvine. Collected ca. 2005 |
