Description: | Large translucent purple 13 mm fluorapatite crystal perched on the termination of translucent gray 38 mm quartz crystal. The fluorapatite crystal is tabular hexagonal form with secondary pyramidal edge faces and has silky surface luster. Collected ca. 2010. Fluoresces dull-orange under SW-LW UV illumination |
