Description: | Large plate of lustrous cubic transparent purple-gray fluorite crystals to 25 mm with minor brown siderite and colorless calcite microcrystals in the crevices. The fluorite crystals fluoresce violet under SW UV illumination, indicative of Weardale. Ex. Bob Metzger collection; collected ca. 1950 |
