Description:Classic specimen of acicular white artinite crystals to 5 mm and white hydromagnesite crystals to 1 mm on green serpentine found during construction of a sewer line on Spring Street in Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City. Collected ca. 1972; See Rocks & Minerals, September 1973: Mineral Collecting in NYC.
