Mineral:Mesolite over Heulandite
Locality:Hvaleyri, 24 km NNE of Reykjavík, Hvalfjörður, Iceland
Description:Elongated cavity in greenish-brown basalt lined with lustrous transparent gray heulandite crystals to 4 mm partially overgrown with radiating white mesolite crystals to 2 mm with tan color on the termination surfaces. Collected by B. E. Sigurdarson
