Mineral:Calcite on Prehnite pseudomorphs after Glauberite
Locality:Fanwood Quarry (Weldon Quarry), Watchung, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs after glauberite crystals to 23 mm long with rhombic transparent yellowish calcite crystals to 11 mm. The glauberite crystals formed first and were overgrown with green prehnite, then the glauberite dissolved. Collected ca. 1995
