Locality: | Blanchard Mine, Hansonburg District, 8.5 km south of Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico |
Description: | Gray-metallic cubic galena crystals to 12 mm with sparkling sugar-like coating of lustrous transparent anglesite microcrystals, plus a few partial blue-purple transparent fluorite crystals. The galena crystals provided the Pb for precipitating anglesite. Collected ca. 1990 |
