Locality:Saltman Prospect, Camp Encore, Sweden, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Large plate of lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals overgrown on colorless quartz crystals. The amethyst crystals vary from deep purple to pale purple. This closed locality was discovered during driveway construction at Camp Encore. Ex. Jerry Behnke (1946-2013); acquired in 1992 from Plumbago Mining
