Locality:Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande District, San Diego County, California
Description:Lustrous transparent rubellite tourmaline crystal, the pink variety of elbaite tourmaline, with rosettes to 4 mm of purple lepidolite crystals on the side. The elbaite crystal has a flat basal pinacoid termination with faint green tint. Collected ca. 1960. Weight: 0.97 grams
