Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Sparkling cluster of many veins of lustrous silver-metallic galena in cleavages to 5 mm in translucent white marble with areas of transparent yellow sphalerite from the famous one-time-find of Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization encountered in 1992-3. From my personal collection; collected in 1992 during the FOMS field trip
