Description: | Lustrous black sphalerite crystals on fine-grained tan-colored quartz. The sphalerite crystals are octahedral form with dodecahedral edge faces. Some sphalerite crystal faces are lustrous, others have a silky luster. Select face fluoresce yellow under SW Ex. W. Keller #2014, acquired in 1991 from Tom Moore |
