Description: | Vivid blue wedge-shaped azurite crystals to 16 mm internally altered to fibrous green malachite from the inside out, resulting in only a thin veneer of azurite on the outer surfaces. The thin azurite outer layer is why the blue color is so pronounced. Collected in 2014 |
