Locality:Sungate Mine, An Phu, Luc Yen, Yenbai Province, Vietnam
Description:Lustrous translucent pink octahedral spinel crystals exposed on the top surface of a rounded knob of fine-grained white marble. The spinel crystals fluoresce deep-red under UV illumination. This locality is exhausted and now closed. Collected ca. 2010. Fluoresces bright red under 365 nm LW UV illumination
