Description: | Many thin transparent yellow-green sphalerite crystals to 5 mm on translucent green prehnite crystals in rounded aggregates to 7 mm. Sphalerite, a sulfide mineral, is uncommon in this trap rock quarry and highly sought by collectors. From my personal collection; collected by William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018) ca. 1994 |
