Description:Platy brown smythite crystals to 0.5 mm on lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 2 mm with brown dolomite crystals to 2 mm and colorless rhombic calcite crystals to 4 mm. Metallic inclusions in the quartz may be smythite also. Ex. Julius Weber (1914-2003) collection, principle photographer of the Encyclopedia of Minerals (1974)
