Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-blue azurite crystals with no matrix attached. The azurite crystals exhibit the rare Easter Pocket-habit of broad, flat contact-twinned blades (see Tsumeb II, pp. 243-247). An superb specimen from this famous find 25 years ago. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and Tsumeb II, the definitive reference books on Tsumeb). Collected in April 1994 |
