Description: | Lustrous translucent purple fluorapatite crystals to 6 mm on a lustrous gray-white 45 mm microcline partial crystal. The fluorapatite crystals are stubby hexagonal prisms with basal pinacoid terminations modified by secondary edge faces. Collected ca. 2012. Fluoresces yellow under 365 nm LW UV illumination and orange under 254 nm SW UV illumination |
