Description: | Lustrous transparent aquamarine crystals, the blue-green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, to 30 mm intersecting lustrous black tapered foitite tourmaline crystals to 20 mm. Foitite tourmaline is an uncommon species in the tourmaline group. Ex. Georg Gebhard (author of Tsumeb I and II), collected ca. 1990 |
