Mineral:Fluorapatite on Quartz
Locality:Darra-i-Pech, Kunar Province, Afghanistan
Description:Lustrous translucent purple fluorapatite crystals to 7 mm nestled in crevices in milky quartz-albite with quartz crystals to 7 mm. The fluorapatite crystals are tabular prisms with flat basal pinacoid terminations. The largest crystal is on the bottom. Collected ca. 1995
