Description: | Lustrous transparent peridot crystal, the green gem variety of the mineral species forsterite, with no matrix. The peridot crystal has well defined crystal form, with slightly abraded surfaces due to alluvial wear. Peridot crystals are now scarce. Collected ca. 2002. Weight: 4.0 grams |
