Description: | Two intersecting lustrous transparent blue aquamarine crystals, the gem variety of the mineral species beryl, to 57 mm with hexagonal form and basal pinacoid terminations. Small white albite crystals to 9 mm grew on the rear of the longest aquamarine. Collected ca. 2010. The albite fluoresces bright-white under 365 nm LW UV illumination |
