Description: | Lustrous transparent purple parallel amethyst crystals on an earlier generation of milky quartz crystals with minor yellow limonite on rear. The amethyst crystals have internal phantom-growth zones of deeper color deep inside the crystal terminations. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; collected ca. 2001 |
