Locality:Darra-i-Pech, Kunar Province, Afghanistan
Description:Two lustrous transparent pink kunzite crystals, the pink gem variety of the mineral species spodumene, to 65 mm long in matrix of purple-gray lepidolite crystals to 4 mm and lustrous transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystals to 16 mm long. Ex. G. McLoughlin collection; acquired in 2006 from Kevin Ward
