Locality: | Jianshan Mine, Kuruktag Mountains, 300 km southeast of Ürümqi, Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uygur Region, China |
Description: | Distinct lustrous translucent orange bladed wulfenite crystals over surrounded by contrasting white calcite on gray matrix. The wulfenite crystals are square bladed form with truncated corners and exhibit zoned growth patterns. The rear was sawn flat. Collected ca. 2006.
