Description: | Prismatic hexagonal translucent tarnowitzite crystals, the lead-rich variety of the mineral aragonite, with lustrous crystal faces and slightly tapered shapes. The tarnowitzite crystals fluoresce white under SW UV illumination. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection, originally acquired in 1988 |
