Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet in Quartz var. Chalcedony
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Lustrous brown dodecahedral garnet crystals in botryoidal white quartz chalcedony. The garnets are either andradite or grossular, both occur at this locality, and they have similar appearance. Several outer edges have contacts from other crystals. Collected ca. 2007
