Locality: | Jianshan Mine, Kuruktag Mountains, 300 km southeast of Ürümqi, Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uygur Region, China |
Description: | Lustrous transparent-to-translucent vivid-orange wulfenite crystals over translucent white calcite covering one face of dark gray matrix. The wulfenite crystals are thin, square blades with truncated corners and exhibit phantom-growth internal zones. Collected ca. 2006.
