Locality: | Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona |
Description: | Lustrous translucent orange-brown vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 10 mm with orange wulfenite to 4 mm on matrix mounted in a Perky box for protection. Thin wulfenite crystals formed first, then were overgrown with vanadinite. Collected ca. 1980 |
