Mineral:Wulfenite with Vanadinite pseudomorphs after Wulfenite
Locality:Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona
Description:Lustrous translucent orange-brown vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 10 mm with orange wulfenite to 4 mm on matrix mounted in a Perky box for protection. Thin wulfenite crystals formed first, then were overgrown with vanadinite. Collected ca. 1980
