Description: | Large lustrous transparent-to-translucent golden-orange calcite crystals with silky surface luster caused by microscopic parallel crystal faces on the surfaces. The calcite crystals are contact-twinned with distinct twin plane running through the center. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1992 by Bryon Brookmyer.
