Description: | Large plate of gray schist with scattered red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals. The schist was carefully removed to expose the almandine garnet crystals without damage. This specimen probably originated at Granatenkogel Mountain. From my personal collection; originally acquired in 1990; ex. Hal Kramer |
