Mineral:Pyrite with Chalcocite coating
Locality:Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico
Description:Large metallic pyrite crystal, with gray color caused by gray chalcocite coating, in white clay-rich matrix. The pyrite crystal is octahedral with dodecahedral edge faces, and the faces have white clay embedded in depressions. Collected in 2015. Analysis of coating performed from Ben Grguric at South Australian Museum
