| Description: | Large (for the locality) rhombic transparent yellow calcite crystals to 42 mm on basalt coated with translucent green prehnite. The calcite crystals have subtle crystallization patterns on the faces and were cleaned in weak HCL giving them silky luster. From my private collection; collected by Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
