Description: | Historic specimen ca. 1890 of lustrous colorless transparent bladed cerussite crystals to 10 mm on gray-metallic galena. The edge of the cavity is rimmed with translucent gray quartz crystals to 9 mm. The cerussite crystals fluoresce yellow under LW UV. From my personal collection; ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #763; originally acquired in 1998 from Lawrence H. Conklin (1933-2016) |
