Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless cubic halite crystals intermixed with brown splinter of wood that was originally part of the mine support timbers that were coated with halite crystals. The halite crystals fluoresce orange under shortwave UV illumination. Mine first opened in 1200s. Water soluble |
