Locality:Boekenhouthoek area, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa
Description:Lustrous transparent deep-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 30 mm long with overgrowth of 1-4 mm amethyst crystals around the prism faces (they do not coat the larger terminations) of the larger crystals with reddish color caused by hematite inclusions.
Overall Size:8x7x4.5 cm
