Locality: | Emmons Quarry, southeastern slope of Uncle Tom Mountain, Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine |
Description: | Lustrous translucent purple fluorapatite crystals to 5 mm intermixed with platy pale-yellow bertrandite crystals to 1 mm on quartz-albite. The fluorapatite crystals are thin, tabular hexagonal form and vary from transparent to translucent. Collected by Ray Sprague |
