Description: | Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals to 42 mm with partial overgrowth of lustrous transparent colorless hexagonal-rhombohedral calcite crystals to 5 mm. The amethyst crystals have deeper purple phantom-growth zones internally. Collected ca. 1985 |
