Locality:Tafelkop, Goboboseb Mountains, 27 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystal with no matrix attached. The purple color is in a phantom-growth zone in the center of the amethyst crystal. The rear of the amethyst has a crystallized impression where it intersected another crystal.
