Description: | Lustrous red-brown grossular garnet crystals surrounded by colorless quartz on one face of a crystallized mass of grossular garnet. The grossular crystals are dodecahedral form with this trapezohedral edge faces on a few crystals. Ex. Harry W. Eichel, Jr. (1914-1990); ex. Phil-Mont Christian Academy. Collected ca. 1890 |
