Locality:Harvard Quarry, Noyes Mountain, Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Cluster of several lustrous translucent purple fluorapatite crystals to 4 mm on one corner of complex cluster of lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 3 mm, in parallel orientation, with overgrowth of tan-colored spherical cookeite crystals. Ex. Franklin Mineral Museum (N.J.); ex. Steve Murphy collection. The fluorapatite fluoresces orange under longwave ultraviolet illumination
