Description: | Lustrous transparent doubly-terminated selenite crystal, the transparent colorless variety of gypsum, with brown appearance caused by clay inclusions. The selenite crystal has hourglass-shaped zones that fluoresce white under SW UV and phosphoresce. Collected in 1979; this site is now closed to collecting |
