Description: | Lustrous translucent gray rhombohedral calcite crystals to 24 mm in parallel orientation with partial coating of gray-metallic hematite microcrystals and a few yellow-metallic chalcopyrite microcrystals. The bottom show cleavage faces in one area. Ex. Schuyler Alverson; collected ca. 1981; Mine is currently closed |
