Locality: | Morenci Mine, 4750' level, Lone Star Area, Clifton District, Greenlee County, Arizona |
Description: | Shallow cavity in limonite gossan lined with large (for this locality) lustrous translucent blue azurite crystals to 6 mm on earthy black tenorite. This specimen is one of the best I collected on this trip, with large crystals, good coverage and color. Collected February 5, 1998 |
