Mineral:	Gypsum var. Selenite with Smithsonite and Hydrozincite overgrowth
Locality:	Mina la Platosa, Bermejillo, Durango, Mexico
Description:	Large selenite crystal, the transparent colorless variety of gypsum, with surfaces partially coated with translucent gray smithsonite crystals to 2 mm and white hydrozincite microcrystals that fluoresce white under LW and SW ultraviolet illumination. Collected ca. 1997
