Description: | Large dark olive-green vesuvianite crystal with no matrix. The vesuvianite crystal is prismatic form, with striated prism faces and flat basal pinacoid termination. The rear and one prism face has contacts from adjacent vesuvianite crystals. Personally collected ca. 1992. Locality is now closed permanently |
