Description: | Two large (for this locality) lustrous dark red-black spessartine garnet crystals in a shallow cavity in gray rhyolite with quartz and hematite microcrystals. The spessartine garnet crystals are trapezohedral form with two octahedral corner faces. Collected ca. 1992 |
