Locality: | Sentinel Rock, west of Bear Creek Canyon, 5.5 km S of Manitou Springs, El Paso County, Colorado |
Description: | Blocky tan-colored microcline crystals to 22 mm intermixed with lustrous medium-smoky quartz crystals to 32 mm. Most of the microcline crystals have overgrowth of lustrous translucent colorless albite crystals to 1 mm. One quartz crystal is chipped. Collected ca. 1975 |
