Locality:Meckley's Quarry, 1.2 km south of Mandata, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania
Description:Lustrous translucent blue celestine (celestite) crystals to 4 mm on lustrous transparent gray calcite crystals to 0.5 mm lining one face of tan-colored limestone. The celestine crystals are rhombic tabular form with striated faces.
