Description: | Sharp gray-metallic hematite pseudomorphs after parallel rhombohedral siderite crystals to 10 mm. The siderite formed first, then altered molecule by molecule to hematite, while maintaining the original shape of the siderite crystals. Ex. Arthur McCollum ca. 1990 |
